Bounce: Life in Motion

Highlighting Your Talents Passions and Ideas

Why "Bounce"?
Because life is animated, always in motion. As the earth rotates and time advances, we are ever changing. Throughout this process we connect with one another through our common interests; friendships are born and continue to evolve. This page was created to display the interests, talents, passions and ideas of the people I've come to know and admire.

Tom Salter

stonewall studiosTom: Natural laws intrigue me. - All that is unified seeks separate-
ness and it's corollary - All that is separate seeks unity. The compelling aspect in this law is conciousness, a conciousness that is capable of recognizing unity or separateness and knowing the way from and to either state. Now that is some kind of knowlege, ability and capacity. Nature will always use the least amount of energy for the greatest result. I have been developing and testing the law of Trinary for more than twenty years - which states that nothing can be any thing unless it possesses three interacting states. All that is unified must consist of at least three distinct condtions of itself , as in me, myself and I or as in energy: positive, negative and neutral states. More soon on The Law of Trinary.

Judith

Judith B4SalkJudith: I have done genealogy on the computer for about 10 years and have over 7,500 relatives in my database and have connected with several long lost cousins while doing so. I am most interested in spirituality, not religion, spirituality, and I meditate many times each day. I research many different religions frequently. I believe each of us has the ability to affect the world in a positive way, we just have to learn to turn our thoughts away from a negative mindset, the darkness, and look into The Light. My two granddaughters are the light of my life. The greatest impact on my life was my first employer who gave a severely disabled 18 year old girl a chance to prove herself, he changed my life for the better in doing that. I worked 30 years as a secretary. My childhood physical therapist from five years of age told me, "Never say can't" and I think that is the best advice I've ever been given, she believed in me. I am most proud of living as normal a life as possible with severe disabilities. There were no laws, curb cuts or ramps back in 1950 when I needed them, and I helped fight for our rights in these areas in years past when I became old enough to do so.

Jim Wilkins

Jim WilkinsJim: What I like best about my job as a technical support rep. for a large Consumer Electronics manufac-
turer is that I'm able to help frustrated customers solve their problems without needing to have them spend money on a service call. (I also like the fact that I only have to work 3 days per week). In my spare time I like to read a wide range of fiction, fantasy, and history. Some of my favorite authors are: David Brin, Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Robert A. Heinlein, J.R.R. Tolkien, John Grisham, Anne Rice, Thomas Harris, Dean Koontz, Dale Brown, Mark Helprin, and Larry McMurtry. I am also an avid fresh water fisherman. As a member of the “Hippy generation”, music has always played an important part in my life, and seeing the video creations on LV and YouTube set to music I like is thrilling to me. I was the first member of my family to get a College education, and being arrested for civil disobedience during a Peace demonstration. I am extremely concerned with the current national political administration, vehemently “Anti-Iraq War”, environmentally conscious and worried about the long term possibilities for our future generations, I am an unashamed liberal on most social issues, but a raging conservative on some others (both “Pro-Choice” and Pro-Gun”). I believe “You can (and should) fight city hall, but it requires the courage of your convictions”. What makes me happy in my life is my family and the greatest impact was losing my beloved wife in an auto accident. The hardest lesson I've had to learn? That being right does not always equate with winning, life is sometimes not fair.

Lynn Lane

Lynn LaneAs a married mother of two adult children, with a 32-year full-time career in information technology, "spare time" has been in short supply. What began as a family genealogy project led to the study of my paternal Grandfather's WW1 service in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces, and soon became an addiction and affinity for all things military, Canadian and non-Canadian alike. My love of music and photography led me to still motion video production. The marriage of music and photographs to create video stories, or "vistories" has allowed me to explore and expand my creativity. The people I have met through both of these "hobbies" are my greatest treasures -- the icing on the cake! I'm a lover of nature -- awed by it's vastness, beauty and power. The hardest lesson I've had to learn in life -- I can't control everything, nor make everything right! As a nurturing, nit-picking Virgo, it's a lesson I'm still learning... ~~ Lynn

Cathy

MoonlitakaCathyCathy: I am a gal with a bit too much time on her hands because of terminal illness from Hep C. So I take my time, and turn it into positive things, try to make others smile, and always having a shoulder to lean on. Being terminal changes your outlook on life. I go thru much pain so the Internet is my *Release* from all my symptoms, even when I am not on the chemo. I love my new found hobby of trying to make movies. When I am not doing that, I can be found gaming (Usually Sims) I used to play Everquest, UO online but stopped those addictions. I also love to do graphics, in Paint Shop Pro, and Animator as well. But since I have found LV it looks like this is my newest hobby.

Bruce

Your picture hereriptide57: Thus far I have had a "Wonderful Life". Married for 31 years with 1 wife, 7 wonderful kids, 5 biological, 2 adopted, and all of them my greatest gifts. I grew up in Northern Nevada where my grandfather owned a cattle ranch, and some of my greatest childhood memories were fishing and hunting with my father and grandfather. My great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee Indian and told me stories of the "Trail of Tears". Due to where I grew up I spent a lot of time alone in the outdoors and I feel intertwined and very much a part of nature. I left home at 17 and hitch hiked to Colorado working odd jobs and eventually joined the Navy. I met my wife while stationed in Florida and have lived in Idaho, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Illinois, Washington, & now, Oregon. The first part of my adult life I had a career in Engineering but now I work in the Tourism industry and I love it. I have met and become friends with people from all over the world. My hobbies aside from the outdoors are photography and videography and video editing. I love to read and try to stay eclectic to broaden my horizons, but most enjoy science fiction and humor. I am most happy when those that I care about are happy. This sometimes makes me unhappy because as we all know making yourself happy is tough enough, much less someone else. So I try to do my small part. My favorite time spent on the computer is on Live Video because of all the wonderful people I have met there, and it gives me the ability to see life through other peoples eyes. The best advice that I have ever received or given is "Never feel sorry for yourself". I love it when I can make people laugh although I sometimes have a misunderstood sense of humor. I do not consider any one a hero because of there station in life. My heros include my parents, my wife & kids, Abraham Lincoln, good parents, Mother Teresa, Jesus, Oprah Winfrey, people in our military, police and fireman (and women) and anyone who choose's to do the right thing no matter how hard or unpopular it is. The worst thing I have ever experience was the death of my daughter The best thing has been the friendship of my wife. What I enjoy most is to be able to make other people smile.

Thank you..
